that just isn't jibing with my feeble understanding of RAID 5. is that supposed to happen? I chose to "delete all partitions and set up default install" (wording from memory), and it mapped installation items to all 3 drives. But when I ran the CentOS install, it sees all 3 drives seperately. Something else confused me.when I set-up BIOS, I enabled RAID and put the three 500GB Seagate drives into the array. From there no keystrokes will register - the system is just locked.Ĭan I boot to the rescue environment and issue commands from there? If so, the video is an ATI ES1000 PCI Graphics Controller, the display is just an extra Dell monitor I had laying around.and just for giggles here's more specs:

When the install completes, it says it was successful, then the DVD ejects and when I reboot the server, it goes through normal boot diagnistics (RAM, RAID, etc) then goes directly to a black screen with a cursor in the upper left corner.
